The fourth city in the series of the 7th travelling festival is Pune. With a focus on Mula-Mutha river, the festival will curate discussions, workshops, eco-tours and other programmes from November 30 – December 04, 2016. The festival programmes also include screening of nominated and awarded films of 2015.

Some of the theme related issues that will be discussed during the five day festival are-

  • River water pollution from industrial effluents and sewage
  • Waste water management
  • Inequitable water supply
  • Groundwater quality

One of the most important highlights of the festival will be the Green Ambassador Award which will be conferred upon an environmental activist for his/her contribution to the conservation of the water bodies in the region. Announcement on the call for nominations will be published on the website in few months.

These programmes are organized in partnership with stakeholders such as government departments, educational institutions, NGOs, corporations, multi-lateral & bi-lateral organizations, media houses, etc.
